CHANGE

Change isn't easy, change is inevitable, and with change comes challenge. I used to think I was the type of person that "played it safe" and didn't like to get outside of my comfort zone just to avoid the struggles of change. The last six months have made me look back at my past more than usual and the numerous times my life has "changed" affirms to me that the only constant in life is indeed change and I have done quite well stepping outside my comfort zone and handling change.

Today I'm grateful for change.

Change has kept me motivated. Change reminds me that life is uncertain. I am grateful for the change in my life that brought me to this country sixteen years ago; grateful for the change that motivated me to pursue my college education; the change that pushed me to become independent, and the change in people that made me realize that one needs to move on and leave behind those things that hurt us or pollute our lives. I want to believe that I have become a better and stronger person for the challenges I have overcome due to change. I want to believe that, it is this challenge (change) that we naturally seek, the one that keeps us evolving... Growing.
